Porto de Salvador is a major comprehensive maritime gateway in Bahia State, handling containers, general cargo, fruit exports and cruise vessels. Subject to tropical coastal climate, significant tidal range, heavy vessel traffic and frequent angled berthing, the port imposes strict requirements on fender energy absorption, anti-aging capability and multi-condition compatibility.
